Introduction

Paw Wallet is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we handle information when you use our iOS application. Privacy is a core principle — all pet information, health records, photos, and documents are stored exclusively on your device using Apple's secure SwiftData framework.

Data Storage

What is stored locally on your device

Pet profiles (names, species, breeds, photos)
Health records (vaccines, vet visits, medical notes)
Reminders and notifications
Photos and document attachments
User preferences and language settings

How it is stored

All data uses Apple's SwiftData framework, protected by your device's security — passcode, Face ID, or Touch ID. Data is included in your device backups via iCloud or iTunes. We do not have access to your data and cannot recover it if lost.

Permissions We Request

Location Services

Only to display nearby veterinary clinics. We never collect or store your location. Map data is provided by Apple Maps.

Photo Library

To add pet photos and save documents. Photos are never uploaded or transmitted — stored only on your device.

Camera

To take photos of pets or documents in-app. Nothing is uploaded or transmitted anywhere.

Notifications

For vaccine and appointment reminders. All notifications are local — generated on your device with no push servers.

Third-Party Services

Apple Maps

The "Find Vets" feature uses Apple Maps to display veterinary clinic locations. When you use this feature, Apple's privacy policy applies. Apple may receive your search queries and location — we do not receive this information.

We do not integrate any other third-party services, analytics, or advertising frameworks.

Data Export & Deletion

Exporting your data

You can export all your pet information at any time in PDF format (complete health records) or ZIP format (records plus all photos and documents) — with no restrictions or limitations.

Deleting your data

Delete individual pets, vaccines, or visits within the app, or delete the entire app from your device. Once deleted, data cannot be recovered unless restored from a device backup.

Children's Privacy

Paw Wallet does not knowingly collect information from children. The app is rated 4+ and is safe for all ages. Since we collect no data at all, there is no risk to children's privacy.

Security

All data uses Apple's secure SwiftData framework and is protected by iOS security features. There is no network transmission of sensitive data and no server-side vulnerabilities — because there is no server.
